Connectivity’s Sport-Related Concussion Short Course is a 15-minute interactive online course which educates coaches, umpires, staff, volunteers, parents and other interested people to recognise and manage a concussion injury in a sporting context. Alongside the main course content is an additional 20 minutes of optional lived experience viewing.

Designed for AHPRA registered healthcare practitioners to learn about the appropriate assessment, management and treatment of sports-related concussions.

Concussion referral and clearance form
This form provides a clear and detailed process following a concussion incident of an individual. It has three (3) sections which provide a healthcare practitioner details of the concussion incident (including mechanism and symptoms), a section for the healthcare practitioner to sign following the initial consultation and examination, and a section for clearance for return to sport following recovery. This follows the community and youth guidance on return to sport timeframes.

Notification to teachers of concussion
This form is for notifying teachers (or relevant school support staff) of a students concussion following an evaluation by a suitably qualified and experienced healthcare practitioner.

Physiotherapy guided rehabilitation of concussion
This resource highlights the five systems that should be considered when designing a rehabilitation plan for an athlete recovering from concussion and is based on the graded return to sport framework (GRTSF) for advanced care settings.
Athletes 18 years and under can utilise this guide but MUST follow the GRTSF for community and youth, specifically the 14 days symptom free (at rest) and 21 days minimum before returning to competitive contact.

Concussion officer
Systems for managing the concussed student in the school environment utilising a proposed ‘concussion officer’ role in a community club or school environment.

Graded return to sport framework (community and youth)
The graded return to sport framework (GRTSF) for community and youth assists athletes/ coach/parents/teachers with concussion management through the recovery process and time frames for a safe return to sport/learn.
